Compliance Issues
Worked with Byeong to coordinate US integration with our compliance issues service. Cannabis compliance reporting varies by jurisdiction, so bridging the Canadian and US systems requires careful alignment on data formats and submission workflows.
Inventory Snapshots
Added New Relic segment monitoring to snapshot queries so we can track their performance in production. Ran performance tests against sandbox and deployed UI changes to handle cases where product inventory data is missing.
Code Reviews
Reviewed Sylvie's work on the admin product import tool and Yongmin's changes adding transactions to batch inventory queries.
Team
Weekly 1/1 with Peter
Discussed the growing roles and responsibilities left by the departure of the chief architect. The architecture work has been redistributed across the remaining leads, and we're all feeling the stretch. I also recommended a plan of action regarding OCS and their lack of communication and cooperation on retailer compliance issues.
