Created a ticket for automating the destruction of orphaned CloudFormation stacks. After yesterday's work fixing hanging stacks manually, it's clear we need an automated solution. Orphaned stacks accumulate over time from feature branch deployments that never get cleaned up, and each one costs money and clutters the infrastructure.
