Talked about OpenTelemetry possibilities for our platform. We're currently using New Relic for observability, but OpenTelemetry would give us vendor-neutral instrumentation and the flexibility to switch backends or aggregate traces across services more easily. It's an investment that pays off as the number of microservices grows.
