Spent the day ramping back up on the Cash Movement Report after a two week break. The report tracks cash drawer movements at registers, and several open questions remain: whether we've captured all the cash movement types, whether a search index on the notes field is worth the cost, and how to redistribute Vikki's tasks now that she's been out.
Insaf took over the tinyint issue in the CDC streams, where the cash movement type column was being interpreted as a boolean instead of an integer. I'm picking up Vikki's remaining frontend tasks and reviewing Kapil's work on the report query layer. I also started a cost analysis for adding a search index to the notes column in BigQuery.
