Discovery for Epic LRX-38832 is moving forward. I continued building out the status-to-state and attributes filters work, adding webregister tickets to flesh out the scope. A meeting with Dania, Vicky, Zhijie, and Ivana helped align on the design direction and fed directly into the technical discovery, which is exactly the right order of operations. Get the design conversation happening early, then let the engineering tickets reflect what actually came out of it.
I also sat down with Dania and Leo to dig into the hydrogen backfill for customer and sale indexes. I raised some concerns around orphaned records, the kind of thing that tends to get dismissed as an edge case right up until it becomes a data integrity headache. Worth keeping an eye on as that work progresses. Separately, I picked up LRX-39113, an issue with sales sorting behaving unexpectedly when multiple payment types are involved. It needs a follow-up with Dania and Leo after standup before I can say much more about root cause.
The more satisfying win today was LRX-39116. A filter on saleTotal: "0.00" was being silently dropped in the Sales query, which meant any sale totaling exactly zero was effectively unfilterable. I created the ticket, traced the root cause, and opened a PR in graphter to fix it. Silent filter drops are particularly nasty because nothing errors out and the user just gets wrong results with no explanation. I also kicked off a new epic, LRX-39134, to explore and adopt custom translation keys in Transifex. The localization team surfaced the requirements through FEP-525 and it felt like something worth giving its own proper home rather than letting it live as a footnote on someone else's ticket.
