The LRX-41208 investigation has reached a satisfying milestone. I opened fixes in both webregister and the monolith to restore the missing tax components on sale-level discounts, and both got merged. Tracking a bug across multiple services is never glamorous work, but getting two fixes landed in one shot makes the archaeology feel worth it.
The next front is recovery. Now that the root cause is patched, I am looking into redrive and backfill options for the existing failed QBO syncs. Fixing forward is only half the job when there is a backlog of broken records waiting for attention.

I reviewed PR #23195 today, which covers LRX-41512 and addresses missing inventory movement when voiding a fulfilled return in the monolith. Return and void flows have a way of hiding edge cases, so it is a worthwhile area to keep a close eye on.
